Building Complex

As a result of constant traffic, multiple dwelling or commercial complexes are some of the most difficult environment to control pest infestation. Given the higher traffic, a building complex has to manage the storage of garbage daily. The elimination of vermin in building complexes will require team effort. The members of the team are Management, Tenants and the right Pest Control firm. Each member of the team has specific responsibilities. All members must do their part or else the chances of successful vermin control are greatly reduced.

Because building complex units share common walls and ceilings with other units in the building, it is essential that all units be treated simultaneously or within a few days of each other. If one unit is infested with pests, it will only be a matter of time before the pest infestation spreads to other units. Prior to treatment of the units, it is important that the management and tenants keep the premise free of excess water (plumbing leaks), food, entry access (holes or gaps larger than 1/8 of an inch) and refuse. At the first sign of vermin, the tenant should contact their property manager immediately so they can conduct the necessary repairs and contact the property pest control firm for service.
