Insect Identification
We understand that finding unidentifiable insects in your home can be alarming especially with the recent bedbug invasion. If you find an insect you are unfamiliar with, bring or send it to our clinic and we will happily identify the insect or arrange for an identification for you, free of charge, within 48 hours. Any insects we are not able to ID at the clinic will be sent to one of our team of certified entomologist consultants for further analysis for a minimal shipping fee.
All insects brought to our clinic for identification must be stored in a sealed plastic bottle. Please try to collect samples that are not crushed or fragmented. Live insects should always be kept in a secured and sealed storage container or bottle similar to the picture to the right. If you would like us to identify the insect during your office visit, you must make an appointment with one of our several technical directors prior to your visit.
If you choose to mail or messenger a sample to us for identification, please call for an Insect ID Request Authorization Number and label your packaging with the provided number. All samples received without an RA# will be discarded. Once you receive your RA#, you can send the sample, with authorization number, to M&M Pest Control, 32 Orchard Street Suite #3 New York, NY 10002 - Attention: Insect Clinic.
